how to rebuild httpd.conf in cpanel?

Filed in Centos 0 comments

If You had your httpd.conf damaged you’ll need a fresh new httpd.conf of apache configuration to be created and if you have CPanel there is a way to recover httpd.conf by CPanel shell Scripts.

Rebuilding httpd.conf Instruction:

Login to ssh with root access,
Just run the following command to rebuild the httpd.conf to the stable file, that will be created with CPanel shell script automaticaly.

/scripts/rebuildhttpdconf

When should you Rebuild httpd.conf

You will have to run that command to have your httpd.conf rebuilt if you had edited it in a wrong way that may have caused your apache web server prevent from starting.

Thanks

Woshka
