How this problem happened to my wordpress installation

Today i noticed that one of my wordpress Themes has an update in wordpress control panel.I had modified that theme and also had some parts of that deleted.I thought that if I click update, that theme will be updated and every things will be overwritten and also the deleted parts will be added.

but no luck

After pushing the update button,The wordpress on my host even the wp-admin would show the following message

“Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute.“

I Really didn’t figure out what caused this problem,maybe the modification of that theme has cause or it was becuase of just a simple wordpress 3 bug,also after I searched this warrning message i found out that i wan’t the only first person that ancountered this problem on wordpress3.

How to solve this problem that is on wordpress 3

I searched through the internet and find out the solution that is to go to the root directory of wordpress installed location.in my case ,wordpress installation is located atpublic_html/blog and that should be vary depends on your installation location.

Then I just delete the .maintenance file.As I did this then every things became normal again jsut like before.

i hope wordpress developer solve this problem as soon as they can if it is really a bug from their side,Or I could find the cause that made this problem happened.
